Purpose:
Convene public and private leaders, in partnership with community leaders, to realize the available benefits of federal and citywide programs for Houston communities suffering most in regards to health, prosperity and climate. ~60 attendees, invite-only, roundtable format. $195 per person for private companies. Proceeds go to AABE Houston for ongoing support of this initiative.
Objectives:
Understand key areas of need and support to best benefit those living and working within Houston’s priority communities.
Provide an understanding of immediate, local relief opportunities connected to the Department of Energy and other Federal programs plus local city and utility programs.
Enable actionable next steps for small businesses and community leaders that can lead to measurable positive outcomes by April 22, 2024 - the 47th AABE National Conference.
