  • Hynes Convention Center Boston (map)

Financing Sustainability Via New Corporate and Project Pathways

Session Information

Thursday, April 19
2:00 – 3:00 PM Room 302

Description
What are the current and potential corporate debt, equity, and non-dilutive funding sources and mechanisms for energy storage companies in the US, and where are those markets? Are there new capital expansion mechanisms, such as MLPs, REITs, or Yieldcos, and will they be amenable to the storage industry?  From a project developer’s perspective, what are the required steps in energy storage project finance and technical due diligence, and can the solar and/or wind experience translate? And finally, what are the chances of expansion or at least clarity on the Federal Investment Tax Credit with regard to storage?  This is a must-attend session as it offers a holistic and comprehensive overview of corporate and project finance perspectives.
