    This heat map shows the results of an RFI/Poll the DOE sent out across the country about 6 months ago. The poll asked for information on regions pollers thought would make great hubs for hydrogen production/consumption collocation.

AEG Chicago Hydrogen Hub Task Force Milestones

  1. Milestone 1, Feb. 24 – Publish white paper 1 on publicly known regional hydrogen activities and considerations

  2. Milestone 2, May 5 – Publish white paper 2 benchmarking regional activity and policy against other emerging global hydrogen regions

  3. Milestone 3, TBD Sep. – Host virtual regional hydrogen coordination panel discussion to inform public of local activity and opportunity

  4. Milestone 4, TBD Dec. – Publish regional hydrogen roadmap to share with state/local lawmakers, nonprofit, and business leaders
